This Set of Maracas will support children’s coordination as they play and experiment with the sounds that these traditional musical instruments create – moving their bodies as they dance to a beat and rhythm. As children explore percussion instruments they will begin to recognise the texture of sound and the tone an object makes.

This Set of Maracas includes:
- Set of 3 authentic musical maracas featuring a Caxixi Straw Shaker, approx. 16cm made in Indonesia, woven basket with seeds with a coconut plate base, handmade and fairtrade. Basket Rattle approx.16 - 20cm, woven rattan basket with pebbles and a disc base, handmade and fairtrade and a Carved Maracca, approx. 15cm, carved and hand painted in assorted colours and designs with a handy cotton strap
