Encourage creative expression by offering an exciting range of real life and fantasy based small world characters and props for the provision, to allow children to recreate familiar experiences in play, invent stories and develop narratives. Offering ready-made sets of small world ideas and small world activities within the classroom will encourage broader learning as children develop confidence to share ideas, talk to other children when playing, learn to negotiate, share resources and co-operate as part of a group.
