This Set of Wooden Stars are a fantastic open-ended play resource, suitable for use in maths activities for sorting and counting or as a prop for outer space adventures within a Small World Area. A natural resource that will make a great addition to any EYFS classroom.
Introduce this Set of Wooden Stars within your early years classroom to encourage imaginations to spark with all the possibilities that this open-ended resource offers. With 15 wooden stars of 3 varying sizes, children will enjoy balancing and stacking the stars, exploring space, shape and measure, as well as positioning and counting the stars as they use them to build towers or embellish a small world scene.
You may simply choose to add the Set of Wooden Stars as an open-ended addition to your Block Area, along with space characters and Aliens to promote children’s creativity, playing collaboratively and listening to each others ideas of what outer space adventures may entail.
